Sophie learned a new song at church yesterday. She woke up from her nap singing this:
Oh, happy day, happy day!
I washed my sins away.
I'll never be the safe.
The song really, goes: You washed my sins away, I'll never be the same.
So her version has some doctrinal issues, but it was still really cute to hear her singing this!

Our girls would be thrilled to have "Happy Day" and "Oh No, You Never Let Go" played constantly throughout the day.
They even make up their own verses:
"O Happy Day, you take my spankings away" "O Happy Day, you take my squash away" etc...
OK - I know this is an old post - but I had to laugh when I read it this morning. (I just found your blog today!!) Lucie did the same thing this summer (must have been the same church service that moved both of them! We could hear Lucie in her room singing for days. She would say "Jesus washed my hands away" though. heehee. Miss you guys!!
